I have worked with many real estate people down through the years when buying my homes, as well as my investments in rentals and land. The large majority of agents were competent and accomplished our mutual goal. None, however, was as impressive and conscientious as Kristen Maley from Landcore, especially since I needed her to deal with a difficult project.

I had purchased an expensive, commercial property in Victorville. The city later rezoned it to residential zoning. It became crunch time for me when I had a huge capital gains tax looming on other property sales and needed the tax loss deduction from the lot for taxes. I asked Kristen to take the listing in an effort to address that issue but was not very hopeful because near my lot were equally valuable lots that had been on the market for a long time without selling.

She suggested a series of steps to market the lot. At no time during the marketing did she express one negative word or thought. I could almost feel my stress and blood pressure reduced every time I talked with her. She kept me informed of her actions to market the lot and the issues involved.

We receive two offers within my time limit and escrow has now closed. I am expressing my appreciation for the energy and forthright manner in which she addressed every aspect of the transaction.
